Dr. Karen Maxwell received her Bachelors of Science degree and earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life University, Marietta, GA. She holds certifications in Pediatrics by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and by the Chiropractic Institute of Thermography in thermoscan technology. Dr. Maxwell is also a Master B.E.S.T. practitioner, the only one in the state of Virginia. Dr. Maxwell has been named one of "America's Top Chiropractors" for 2004 by the Consumers' Research Council of America. Dr. Maxwell has been awarded the Family Practice Excellence Award for four consecutive years.

Profesionally, Dr. Karen is a member of the International Chiropractic Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, World Chiropractic alliance and the Virginia Society of Chiropractic. Dr. Karen is a current Advisory Board Member for the WCA Council on Family Practice. She is also a member of the Botetourt Chamber of Commerce.

Her love of chiropractic and genuine concern for others are two qualities that impress those who know her well. Dr. Karen feels that "everyone deserves to be healthy from the moment they are born til the last breath is taken"!!

Director of Marketing
Helaine Hashimi-Clark received her B.S. degree in Business Administration at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA. She is a graduate of three Dale Carnegie Courses, has participated in the Family B.E.S.T seminar-given by Dr. Maxwell, and is currently working on receiving her certificate as a Chiropractic Assistant. Helaine assists Dr. Maxwell with all marketing and promotional campaigns for Maxwell Family Chiropractic Center as well as being involved with other areas of the business. She has been a chiropractic patient since receiving her first adjustment when she was 3 hours old. It is her passion in life to serve humanity by explaining the benefits of wellness chiropractic care for all ages.
